Accompanying Da Nang people to recover after natural disasters

On November 24, at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Da Nang City, Wilmar CLV Group donated 1.9 billion VND to support local people to overcome the damage caused by floods.

The support includes 1 billion VND in cash and 1,500 gifts including essential necessities, transferred to the City Relief Fund to promptly distribute to localities and people severely affected by natural disasters.

Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong thanked the enterprise for its concern, sharing and sense of responsibility towards the people of Da Nang.

At the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City will coordinate with armed forces and local authorities to deploy support to the right subjects and for the right purposes, ensuring publicity and transparency, contributing to overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in the area.

Also on November 24, the working delegation of the Da Nang City Military Command led by Colonel Tran Huu Ich - Commander of the City Military Command visited and presented gifts to households affected by natural disasters in Thanh My commune.

Colonel Tran Huu Ich and the working group presented gifts (each household 2 million VND) to 11 households in difficult circumstances, directly affected by floods.

Colonel Tran Huu Ich personally presented 5 TVs to households in special difficulties to help people have access to information and stabilize their lives after natural disasters.

Colonel Tran Huu Ich believes that the Da Nang City Armed Forces always accompany the government and people in all circumstances, to help people soon overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.
