Solidarity opens a new development phase for Quang Tri province
Solidarity is identified as the central driving force, opening a new development stage for Quang Tri in the term of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province 2025 - 2030.
On the morning of November 17, the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Tri province, term 2025-2030, entered the 2nd session with full rituals according to regulations, taking place at the Provincial Center for Culture and Cinema.
Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and delegates representing the great national unity bloc attended the Congress.
In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province - emphasized the role of the Front in strengthening solidarity, promoting the strength of the people, and at the same time orienting the tasks of the new term.
Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang emphasized that the spirit of solidarity is the foundation for opening a new development phase of Quang Tri after the arrangement of administrative units and the completion of the Front system.
He affirmed that the Congress has a special meaning, concretizing the Provincial Party Resolution and expressing the aspiration for innovation and solidarity for the goal of building a beautiful and civilized province. With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Front at all levels is expected to operate more professionally and effectively, meeting the development requirements in the new period.
Also at the 2nd session, the Congress will also approve the list of delegations attending the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, including 16 official delegates and 2 absent delegates.
The Congress will vote to pass the Resolution for the 2025-2030 term, determining the goal of continuing to promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, improve the effectiveness of supervision, social criticism and participate in building the Party and government.
Previously, on the afternoon of November 16, the first session of the Congress held a consultation to elect the first term of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, consisting of 95 members. Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang continues to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Vice Chairmen include Mr. Dao Manh Hung, Tran Tien Sy, Tran Ngoc Sam, Nguyen The Lap, Le Cong Cuong, Duong Tan Long and Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, Ms. Le Thi My Hien.
