Dien Bien honors 65 individuals and 10 typical advanced groups

On August 27, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held the 1st advanced typical conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Dien Bien province (2025-2030), with 160 advanced typical delegates attending.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province said that from 2020 to present, the Vietnam Fatherland Front system and its member organizations have mobilized over VND517 billion, supported the construction and repair of more than 10,200 Great Unity houses, awarded tens of thousands of gifts and scholarships, supported livelihood development, helping thousands of poor households escape poverty sustainably.

Accordingly, the poverty rate of the whole province has decreased from 34.6% in 2020 to 17.66% in 2025, an average decrease of more than 3.97%/year. Dien Bien province has also become a bright spot nationwide in applying the strength of solidarity to socialize resources to care for social security.

The movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" was implemented synchronously, closely linked with the campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas".
