Offering incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Citadel and the Memorial Area of late General Secretary Le Duan

On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, on February 11, the delegation of Quang Tri province led by Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Tri province organized incense and flower offerings in gratitude at the National Special Historical Relic Quang Tri Citadel and the Memorial Area of the late General Secretary Le Duan.

At the National Special Historical Relic Quang Tri Citadel, in a solemn atmosphere, the delegation respectfully offered flowers, incense and observed a minute of silence, expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who bravely sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the People.

Quang Tri Ancient Citadel is a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism in the resistance war against the US for national salvation, associated with 81 days and nights of fierce fighting in the summer of 1972. Thousands of officers and soldiers have forever remained here, contributing to the glorious victory, national reunification, and bringing peace to the country.

Next, at the Memorial Area of the late General Secretary Le Duan, the delegation respectfully bowed to commemorate and express gratitude to General Secretary Le Duan, the outstanding leader of the Party and the nation, the excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, the outstanding son of the heroic homeland of Quang Tri.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates reviewed the life and glorious revolutionary career of the late General Secretary Le Duan, a bright example of bravery, intelligence and the spirit of dedicating his whole life to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

Before the spirit of the late General Secretary Le Duan, officials and people of Quang Tri province vowed to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, strive to build an increasingly rich and civilized homeland; and at the same time promote revolutionary tradition education for the young generation, contributing to building a peaceful, prosperous and prosperous country.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang and members of the delegation visited, presented gifts and wished Tet to the Management Board of the Memorial Area of the late General Secretary Le Duan and Quang Tri Ancient Citadel.
