Lai Chau Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress: Solidarity - Democracy - innovation - development

On December 5, at the Provincial Cultural Conference Center, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Chau province held the 14th Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term, with the participation of Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front; Central organizations; provincial leaders and 300 delegates representing all classes of people.

Over the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has innovated methods of operation and effectively implemented action programs.

The movement "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" mobilized 403 billion VND, contributing to eliminating 7,383 temporary houses, reaching 100% of the plan. The "For the Poor" Fund mobilized more than 20 billion VND, supporting the construction and repair of 266 solidarity houses; supporting livelihoods for nearly 200 households.

The National Great Unity Festival was held simultaneously in 100% of residential areas, with more than 1,800 exemplary households and individuals being honored, affirming the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in connecting the community.

With the motto "Solidarity - democracy - innovation - development", the congress has set out general goals, 15 specific groups of goals, 2 breakthrough tasks, 6 Action Programs; in which, 100% of cadres, party members, union members, members and 95% of the people are propagandized and thoroughly grasped the Party's directives and resolutions, the State's policies and laws; 100% of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations at all levels develop programs and plans to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress; Resolutions of the Party Congress at the same level; directives, resolutions and conclusions of the Central and the province as required...

In his speech, Mr. Le Minh Ngan - Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee - requested the Fatherland Front at all levels to continue to thoroughly grasp Ho Chi Minh's ideology, promote propaganda and mobilization of the people, promote the core role in building the great solidarity bloc; strengthen supervision, social criticism and closely coordinate with the government in implementing socio-economic development tasks.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations - emphasized that the Provincial Fatherland Front needs to proactively grasp the situation of the people, promptly reflect legitimate concerns and recommendations; continue to innovate activities, improve the quality of emulation movements, and create clear changes in the new term.

The consultation meeting elected 111 members of the 14th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Sung A Ho was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
