Da Nang joins hands to support students and orphans in difficult circumstances
Da Nang - Many cases of students and orphans in difficult circumstances, people affected by floods have been supported by organizations and unions.
The Quang Nam Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, Children's rights and Poor Patients has just coordinated with organizations to donate 210 vehicles to people with disabilities and students in difficult circumstances.
Accordingly, the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities, Children's rights and Poor Patients of Quang Nam has coordinated with the Social Assistance Programme for Vietnam (SAP-VN) and the People's Committees of Hiep Duc, Thanh Binh, Duc Phu, Tam My, Tam Hai communes to present 110 wheelchairs to people with disabilities and 100 bicycles to students in difficult circumstances in the communes, with a total value of 285.5 million VND.
This program is part of the project "Supporting orphans, disabled children, children with congenital heart disease and people in difficult circumstances in Quang Nam" sponsored by SAP-VN, approved by the People's Committee of Quang Nam province (old) to be implemented from June 2025 to December 2029, with a total capital of more than 6.8 billion VND.

Also joining hands to support, share love, and kick off the emulation campaign "30 days of action - Da Nang women join hands for the community", the working group of leaders of the Women's Union (WUSA) of Da Nang City recently launched activities towards Nong Son commune, a locality that suffered heavy damage due to storms and floods.
In response to the loss of the people, the Women's Union of Da Nang City presented 30 gifts to support disadvantaged households and 20 gifts to orphans in the locality, each gift including necessities and 1 million VND in cash.
Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Huong - President of the Women's Union of Da Nang City said that the above gifts are a joint effort of the city's women to share with those in difficult circumstances, helping people overcome some of the damage and soon stabilize their lives.
Promoting this spirit, the Women's Union of Dien Ban Bac Ward also coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward to mobilize businesses and philanthropists to contribute to giving 1,142 gifts and 192 million VND in cash to support people severely affected by floods.
In addition, the Women's Union of Dien Ban Bac Ward also connected with kind-hearted people to give 100 gifts, worth 100 million VND to people in Tra Doc Commune affected by landslides.
