Da Nang voters hope to remove prolonged land backlogs
Da Nang organizes a voter contact conference with candidates for the 16th National Assembly in constituencies No. 2 and No. 4 on March 2.
On March 2nd, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city organized a meeting with voters and candidates for the 16th National Assembly at constituencies No. 2 and No. 4.
In Hoa Tien, Hoa Vang, Ba Na communes and Hoi An, Hoi An Dong, Hoi An Tay wards, after the biography introduction, candidates present action programs if trusted by voters. Candidates commit to fully performing their responsibilities as National Assembly deputies; seriously participating in meetings; actively discussing and deciding on important issues within their authority.
The focus is emphasized as improving the quality of legislation and supervision; perfecting a synchronous and feasible legal system; removing obstacles in the fields of land, investment - business, urban management, planning, environment; supervising the implementation of resolutions on mechanisms and policies for city development.
Many voters expressed their wish that delegates, if elected, must maintain regular contact with the people; listen to and truthfully reflect voters' opinions; monitor and urge to the end the settlement of petitions. In particular, voters proposed to soon resolve prolonged land issues that directly affect people's rights and lives.
Voter Nguyen Van Hung, Hoi An ward, expressed his opinion: many prolonged land cases need to be addressed thoroughly; if delays continue, it will affect people's trust. Voters request candidates to clearly show responsibility, proactively propose, promote resolution, and ensure the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people.
In addition to land, voters are also interested in planning, urban embellishment, social security, education, health, administrative procedure reform; expect delegates to pay attention to supervision and promote effective implementation.
