HUE - More than 100 officers and soldiers of Hue City Police and aviation staff participate in blood donation to save people.

On January 28, Hue City Police said that the Immigration Management Department - City Police coordinated to organize a voluntary blood donation program with the theme "Each drop of blood - One heart".

The program attracted the participation of more than 100 officers, soldiers and workers, including 60 officers and soldiers of the Immigration Management Department of Hue City Police and 41 officers, staff, and workers working at Phu Bai International Airport and units operating regularly at the airport.

Before donating blood, volunteers were examined, consulted, and health screened by the team of doctors and nurses of Hue Central Hospital according to the correct procedures, ensuring safety for donors and the quality of blood received.

As a result, the program received nearly 100 units of blood, promptly supplementing the reserve blood bank, serving emergency and treatment work at medical facilities.

Voluntary blood donation activities are practical, meaningful and humane, demonstrating the spirit of responsibility for the community of the People's Police force and the effective coordination between agencies, units, and businesses in the area.
