Nghe An - Giving Tet gifts to people, the program "Connecting Vietnamese Tet - Connecting many regions" also brings a space to experience the typical Tet culture of Nghe An.

On January 24, in Kim Bang commune (Nghe An), the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in coordination with Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (SABECO) organized the program "Showing the taste of Vietnamese Tet - Connecting all regions" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, giving 500 gifts to households in difficult circumstances.

Attending the program were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Van - Deputy Head of the Social Work Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Lim Pei Chi Patsty - Deputy General Director in charge of Marketing and Communications of SABECO; Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, along with representatives of local authorities and a large number of people.

At the program, the organizing committee presented 500 gifts, each worth 900,000 VND, including gifts and cash to poor, near-poor households, fishermen and workers in difficult circumstances in Kim Bang commune. On this occasion, SABECO also visited and presented Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station with 20 million VND to encourage the forces on duty at the front line.

In addition to gift-giving activities, the program also brings a space to experience the cultural Tet holiday imbued with the identity of the North Central region. People enjoy Vi Giam folk songs - a form of folk art that has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage - along with many activities recreating traditional Tet customs such as Chung cake wrapping competitions, table decoration, folk games... attracting thousands of participants.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Van emphasized that Lunar New Year is an occasion to connect the community and spread the spirit of sharing. Organizing Tet gift giving activities at the grassroots level contributes to helping people in difficult circumstances celebrate Tet more warmly and fully, while affirming the role of the great national unity bloc.

According to the organizers, the program in Nghe An is one of a series of activities to give 6,500 gifts to disadvantaged households, workers, fishermen and border soldiers in 16 provinces and cities across the country.

To date, the program has been implemented in 8 localities with more than 3,300 gifts presented. In the coming time, the next activities will be held in Quang Tri, Ninh Binh, Khanh Hoa and Gia Lai.
