Handing over a house of gratitude to a lonely old woman in Quang Tri
Quang Tri - The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Trach commune coordinated with Thien Tam Fund to support 60 million VND to repair and hand over a new house to Mr. Nguyen Thi Nguyet, a poor single-parent household.
On November 8, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Trach commune (Quang Tri province) announced that it had just held an inauguration ceremony and handed over a house of gratitude to Mr. Nguyen Thi Nguyet (87 years old, Dat Do village), a poor household in especially difficult circumstances, living alone.
After storm No. 10, Mr. Nguyet's small house had its roof blown off and was severely damaged. Understanding that situation, the Commune Fatherland Front Committee has connected with Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation to support 60 million VND to repair, re-roof, make doors, repair walls and floors. Thanks to that, his new house was completed spacious, safe and warm.
During the handover ceremony, leaders of Hoa Trach commune and organizations visited, presented gifts, and wished her a happy and healthy life. The house is a meaningful gift, expressing the spirit of "Solidarity - Humanity - Love", spreading sharing, bringing the warmth of the community to difficult lives.
