Ms. Po Dieu Ninh was elected as President of the Women's Union of Dien Bien Province
Dien Bien - Ms. Po Dieu Ninh, Vice President in charge of the Provincial Women's Union (VWU) was elected to hold the position of President of the Provincial Women's Union.
On December 29, the Women's Union of Dien Bien province held the 13th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.
219 delegates representing more than 111,000 women's union members in the province attended. At the first session of the Congress, 219 delegates voted to elect 32 comrades (manly 1 comrade) to join the 13th Provincial Women's Union Executive Committee, term 2025-2030. The Standing Committee was elected with 10 comrades (one comrade short-lived).

Accordingly, Ms. Po Dieu Ninh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial Women's Union, term XII, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Women's Union of Dien Bien province, term XIII, 2025-2030.
Ms. Vu Dao My - Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, term XII, was elected to hold the position of Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union. The Inspection Committee of the new Provincial Women's Union consists of 7 comrades.
The delegates also elected a delegation to attend the 14th National Women's Congress, term 2026-2031, including 14 official delegates (2 absentees).
Entering the new term, the Women's Union of Dien Bien province set 12 specific targets. In particular, focusing on hot issues such as: Drug prevention; site clearance for provincial projects; prevention of early marriage, consanguineous marriage; gender equality, domestic violence and illiteracy.

Regarding supporting economic development, every year, the Association at all levels will organize to improve in-depth knowledge and skills for 135 women with business start-up ideas and startups. At the same time, guide and support at least 2 business households owned by women to convert into enterprises.
By the end of the term, the whole province will establish 5 new cooperatives with women participating in managing and strengthening the quality of activities of 7 cooperatives previously established by the Association.
Regarding organizational development, the Women's Union of Dien Bien province aims to increase at least 3,000 members compared to the beginning of the term.
