Ms. Ha Thi Nga holds the position of Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front

On the afternoon of January 14, implementing the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), 100% of delegates attending the 6th Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, voted and consulted to elect Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to hold the position of Vice Chairman - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024-2029.

The conference also agreed to unanimously elect 18 members as members of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and 5 members to join the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Fatherland Front, including appointing Ms. Bui Huyen Mai - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City as non-professional Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Ha Thi Nga said that in the context of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels operating in the new model, the role and influence of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is increasingly broader, clearly affirming its important position in the political system and people's lives.

According to Ms. Ha Thi Nga, not only a bridge between the Party, State and people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front is also a sweet flag of solidarity and humanity that gathers the will and confidence of the people in the period of national renewal and integration.

Ms. Ha Thi Nga said that in order to effectively promote the great role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in consolidating and building the great national unity bloc, creating social consensus, and working towards the goal of building a strong and prosperous country and a happy life for the people in the new era, she and the newly admitted members to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front feel that they must constantly strive to maintain political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, discipline, continue to study the theory, closely follow reality, modestly learn from experience from comrades and colleagues, the Standing Committee, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, unite to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

In my new position, I hope to continue to receive the attention, leadership, direction and facilitation of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Party and State leaders and the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai, the attention, support and coordination of departments, ministries, branches, central and local agencies, especially the encouragement, motivation and conveyance of valuable experiences of previous generations of leaders, the support of the members, committee members in the Standing Committee, the Presidium, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations, as well as the staff of the Fatherland Front at all levels to help me fulfill my tasks well in the coming time, Ms. Ha Chi Nga expressed.
