Warm Than Linh market recreates memories of old villages
Nghe An - Than Linh Commune People's Committee coordinated to organize the "Memories of Ancient Countryside" rural market to celebrate the National Great Unity Festival.
On November 9, the People's Committee of Than Linh Commune, Nghe An Province, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Farmers' Association of Nghi Hung 3 Commune and Hamlet, organized the Than Linh Countryside Market with the theme "Memories of Ancient Countryside", on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025).
The market space recreates the rustic, rural scene with rustic products such as cakes, tea, agricultural products... being sold in the traditional way. The price of each item is only symbolic, about 2,000 VND, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and community solidarity.
People and tourists come to the market not only to buy and sell, but also to relive their childhood memories, re-viewing the images of ancient rural markets with bicycles carrying rice, conical hats, colorful brown shirts and bustling laughter.
This activity has a profound traditional education meaning, contributing to arousing love for the homeland, spreading cultural values and the spirit of solidarity in the community.
