345 delegates attended the 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi, term 2025 - 2030
On the morning of November 18, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City solemnly held the 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City, term 2025 - 2030.

The Congress was attended by 345 outstanding official delegates, representing all classes of people, religions, intellectuals, outstanding individuals and representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of 126 communes and wards of Hanoi city.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Comrade Bui Huyen Mai - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City said that, based on the success of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the commune level, closely following the direction of the Central and the City Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City has carefully prepared the content and conditions to organize the 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City, term 2025 - 2030.
The Congress is an event of special political and social significance, the first Congress to implement the two-level local government model and merge socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State under the Vietnam Fatherland Front comrade Bui Huyen Mai emphasized
According to Comrade Bui Huyen Mai, in the process of directing the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at all levels and preparing for the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress of the City, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City has received the attention and guidance of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the close direction and leadership of the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; the close coordination of the People's Council, People's Committee, member organizations of the Front, especially the participation and contribution of opinions from all classes of people, experts, outstanding individuals, and former Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City through the periods in the process of developing political reports to submit to the Congress and preparing for the Congress, to make this Congress a reality of the spirit, spirit and hope of the Capital.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Responsibility - Creativity - Development", the Congress has the task of: objectively and comprehensively assessing the situation of all classes of people and the great national unity bloc; results of implementing the congress resolution for the 2024 - 2029 term, drawing lessons; identifying directions, goals, and action programs for the 2025 - 2030 term to ensure consistency with the model of local government at 2 levels; discussing and contributing opinions to the draft Political Report of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (amended); consulting to elect outstanding individuals to participate in the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, term 18 and the Delegation attending the 18th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026 - 2031 term.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City expressed that the Congress Presidium hopes that the delegates will promote the spirit of democracy, solidarity, consensus, focus their intelligence, contribute many enthusiastic opinions to evaluate, explain, discuss and decide on the direction, the Action Program for the next term in the direction of looking ahead, thinking big, and renewing themselves, so that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the City can promote its core political role, being a "connector" between the Party, government and people; a place to promote the strength of great national unity, a place to connect trust and arouse development aspirations, contributing to realizing the aspiration to develop the civilized, modern, happy capital, together with the whole country firmly moving into the era of national growth, an era of building a prosperous and prosperous country".
