10,000 bags of family medicine sent to people in the northern provinces affected by storms and floods

Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has launched a campaign for the whole industry to contribute 10,000 "Family Medicine backpacks" to support people affected by storms and floods. As of October 6, 2025, through the VNVC system, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has sent 5,000 bags of medicine to the Departments of Health of the northern provinces such as Son La, Ninh Binh, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Ha Tinh.

These drugs have all been assessed by a professional council with detailed instructions for use, helping people, especially in areas isolated by storms and floods, to take care of their own health at home for both adults and children.

Ms. Ha Vu Nhu Huong - Deputy Head of the Department of Social Work - Children's Hospital of the City - said that the medicine bags prepared by the hospital will focus on convenience and durability, ease of carrying, and can be used immediately in poor conditions, helping many areas with difficulty access timely health care.

Also recorded at Children's Hospital 2, right after the program was launched, the hospital prepared 300 bags of medicine to send to people in storm and flood areas.

From October 5 to October 7, public hospitals continued to contribute 5,000 more bags of medicine, this source of medicine from hospitals in the city sent to such as: Children 1, People 115, Saigon General Hospital, Hoc Mon General Hospital, Cu Chi and Tu Du General Hospital, ... This medicine has been sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to give to people in storm and flood areas.
