Dong Nai Trade Union members have initiatives that bring in over 1,068 billion VND

ideals and initiatives of workers that bring billions of dong in benefits to businesses

In Dong Nai province, the emulation movement for good labor and creative labor has attracted union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers to enthusiastically participate in contributing to improving the quality of goods, services, and labor productivity. Notably, in the enterprise sector, over the past 5 years, there have been 563,783 ideas, initiatives, models, and tasks performed by workers to benefit the enterprise with over 1,068 billion VND.

Notably, the Executive Board of the Trade Union of Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd., TKG TaekwangVina Joint Stock Company, Pousung Vietnam Co., Ltd., Pouchen Vietnam Co., Ltd., Precision Industry Joint Stock Company and many other enterprises in the province have coordinated well with the Board of Directors to launch among workers to promote initiatives and improve techniques, resulting in nearly 100,000 initiatives, designs, and work of workers benefiting the enterprise with tens of billions of VND.

Mr. Dang Tuan Tu - Chairman of the Trade Union of Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd. shared that the company always encourages union members and workers to have many creative ideas and improve their work, thereby contributing to the profit of tens of thousands of USD for the enterprise. That shows that the qualifications of Vietnamese workers are increasingly high, smart, and creative.

Helping union members become more confident

A bright spot is the emulation movement "1 million initiatives, efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic" after 2 years of implementation, there have been many initiatives in the manufacturing sector with high value for profit; initiatives to create new products, new technology, improve labor productivity.

As of the end of the program (September 1, 2023), Dong Nai province has had 110,232/67,486 experience initiatives updated on the online software system, reaching nearly 2 times the target assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, ranking 6th out of 82 units nationwide, benefiting agencies and enterprises with more than VND 1,500 billion.

The recognized initiatives have helped union members and workers feel more confident in proposing solutions associated with assigned tasks, with many initiatives associated with the professional practice of workers and laborers directly involved in production, such as the initiative of the group of union members of Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company with the theme of improving to proactively source materials to help the factory be more proactive in developing new products, benefiting the enterprise over 23 billion VND...

In addition, over the past 5 years, the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" has also been directed by the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor to promote by trade unions at all levels. Many innovative models and solutions in emulation work were spread such as: "Union trust", "COVID-19 Safety Group", "ATM Rice and Love", "Zero-dong supermarket", "Union accompanies businesses to overcome difficulties"...

Trade Union of Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd.: Since 2002, the "Changshin Family Support" Association has been established. Over the past 5 years, it has supported 163 families with deceased workers with over 300 million VND/case, helping the family overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and have the conditions for their children to continue studying. In addition, over the past 5 years, the "Hands of Love" program to support union members with terminal illnesses and difficult circumstances has supported 157 workers, each person from 40-60 million VND, helping workers have more conditions to treat their illnesses, continue working and stabilize their lives.

The Trade Union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. has coordinated with financial institutions to lend capital to 40,302 union members with a total amount of more than VND 1,176 billion.

Ms. Bui Thi Bich Thuy - Permanent Vice President of Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor said that through patriotic emulation movements, union members, workers, civil servants and laborers in all fields of work have completed their assigned work well with a spirit of dedication and responsibility, contributing positively to the successful completion of the tasks of agencies, units, enterprises, sectors, localities and Dong Nai province in the past 5 years.
