Trade unions accompany and nurture the happiness of workers' families

The evening in the small house of Mr. Le Hoang Vu and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang's family in Lao Cai ward (Lao Cai province) usually starts with a reunion meal.

After a working day, he and his wife gathered with their children again, talking about work, study and future plans. Those simple moments have become a bond connecting the members, creating a warm home where everyone finds peace to return to.

With more than 30 years of attachment to the water supply industry, Mr. Le Hoang Vu always keeps in mind that every position is associated with the responsibility of serving the community.

From the early days of his career until taking on the position of Head of Organization - Administration Department of Lao Cai Province Water Supply Joint Stock Company, he always maintained a spirit of dedication, responsibility and constantly learned.

Not only completing professional tasks well, he also actively participates in Party work, Trade Union, Veterans Association and many social activities. To colleagues, he is a close and responsible cadre; to employees, he is a person who always listens, shares and accompanies.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang has contributed many years to the field of information technology and digital transformation of the province. On the journey to promote the application of technology in state management, she is always a pioneer in researching and proposing many digital solutions to improve the efficiency of serving people and businesses.

Those persistent efforts have been recognized by many emulation titles, especially the Third-class Labor Medal. Although working in two different fields, Mr. Vu and his wife all have in common a spirit of responsibility, dedication to work and a desire to contribute.

Behind those achievements is the silent but persistent companionship of the whole family. Working peak periods, long business trips or overtime work do not make the gap between members greater. On the contrary, sympathy and understanding have helped them become more attached.

What is precious is that the journey of building happiness for Mr. Vu's family always has the companionship of the trade union organization.

Having participated in trade union activities for many years as Chairman of the department's Trade Union, he clearly understands the value of an organization always standing side by side with workers.

According to him, when legitimate rights and interests are protected, policies are guaranteed and material and spiritual life is promptly cared for, workers will feel secure in their work, have conditions to develop their family economy and improve their quality of life.

Mr. Vu's family's joy is not in the rewards or titles, but in the maturity of his children. The eldest son is currently a student at the University of Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The second son is a student of Lao Cai High School for the Gifted, who won the Third Prize in the National Excellent Student Competition in Informatics. But what makes the couple even more proud is that their children know how to live responsibly, independently and always strive with their own abilities.

Instead of creating pressure about achievements, the couple chose to accompany their child with trust, encouragement and their own labor example.

Lessons about honesty, will to overcome difficulties and a sense of responsibility are passed down through each everyday story, becoming luggage for children on their journey to adulthood.
