Launching the Pregnant Women and Young Children Club at Enterprises outside Industrial Parks
Dong Thap - Provincial Labor Federation held a launching ceremony for the Club of Pregnant Women and their first child at a business outside the industrial park.
On the morning of October 10, in Thap Muoi commune, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF) held a launching ceremony for the Pregnant Women and Young Children Club model at Ty Thac Company Limited.
This is the first enterprise outside the industrial park to be established by the Provincial Federation of Labor as the Obstetrics and Pediatrics Club after the merger of the province.
At the ceremony, the Decision to establish the model "Ba Chua and Young Children Club" was approved with 100 members led by Ms. Le Thi Nho - Chairwoman of the Company's Trade Union.
It is known that Ty Thac Company Limited has 4,500 employees, with over 3,000 female employees. Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Nho affirmed that this is a model that brings very practical results to female workers at the Company.
"On average, there are often hundreds of female workers pregnant and raising young children. Meanwhile, this place has a rather difficult location, over 30km away from specialized medical centers. Therefore, the establishment of this specialized club is very practical" - Ms. Le Thi Nho shared.
Ms. Nho said that in addition to regular activities, on average each quarter, the grassroots Trade Union will coordinate with the Club to organize thematic activities. Accordingly, specialists from reputable medical facilities will be invited to convey information and answer questions that many female workers often encounter during pregnancy and raising young children.
After the congratulatory speech of the representative of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor, Ms. Phan Thi Quyen - Company's Administrative Director, former President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - expressed her joy and considered this a model to help female workers have more conditions to do well in the civil service of women: both taking good care of their children and contributing to protecting their health and spirit during the postpartum period...
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also presented 100 gifts to members from socialized sources.
After the ritualistic activities, representatives of the Trade Union of Phuong Chau Sa Dec Hospital presented support to the Trade Union of vouchers Co., Ltd. with a preferential treatment of 30 million VND before implementing the treatment of basic issues for pregnant women and young children.
