A grassroots union chairman with 30,000 employees, operating in the electronics sector in Bac Ninh, also said that the enterprise only had 1 day off.
Sharing about the plan to take a day off on January 2, 2026 and switch (to work as compensation) to a weekly day off on Saturday, January 10, 2026, the chairman of this grassroots union said that it would be very difficult because Saturday is still a working day; if it was changed to Sunday, the company would have to pay a different salary than normal days.
