Football exchange in Can Tho to successfully celebrate the 14th National Party Congress
Can Tho - On January 24, the grassroots trade union of the City Labor Federation coordinated with the People's Committee of Vinh Trinh commune to organize a football exchange and plant trees to prevent landslides.
This is a practical activity to achieve success in celebrating the 14th National Party Congress and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026); welcoming the election of 16th National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels, term 2026-2031; welcoming the 14th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union, term 2026 - 2031.
Through football exchange activities, the organizing unit hopes to promote and develop a physical exercise movement, participate in sports training, contribute to improving the physical strength of cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and union members. At the same time, create a joyful and healthy atmosphere, exchange and learn, improve health, and complete assigned tasks well in the unit.
In addition, planting 1,000 banyan trees on canals in Vinh Trinh commune will contribute to preventing and combating landslides, creating a clean environmental landscape in the city in the coming time.
