Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union, Da Nang successfully organizes pickleball and badminton tournament for workers
Da Nang - Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union said it has successfully organized pickleball and badminton tournaments for workers and civil servants.
The tournament attracted 112 athletes from 20 grassroots trade unions directly under Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union. Besides union members and workers, the tournament also had the participation of ward officials and civil servants, along with leaders of agencies, units and businesses, creating a lively and exciting atmosphere of competition.
Athletes competed in 6 events of badminton and pickleball, including men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. With a spirit of honest and noble competition, many exciting matches took place, offering beautiful balls and receiving enthusiastic cheers from a large audience.
At the end of the tournament, the organizing committee awarded 24 sets of Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for the competition events. In addition, the grassroots Trade Union of Da Nang City Rehabilitation Hospital received the Most Enthusiastic Supporter award. The Organizing Committee also awarded 4 sub-prizes to collectives and individuals with impressive and foreign-invested competition styles.
In the team event, the Trade Union of Da Nang City Rehabilitation Hospital excellently won the First Prize. The Second Prize belonged to the Trade Union of Da Nang Market Management and Development Board. The Third Prize was awarded to the Trade Union of Van Hai Trading and Service Co., Ltd.
The tournament is a practical activity to celebrate the success of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2026 - 2031 and the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).
Through the tournament, Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union continues to create a useful sports playground, contributing to improving the health and spiritual life of union members and workers, while strengthening exchanges and connections between grassroots trade unions, building a united, dynamic and effective working environment.
