Venus Company Trade Union distributes milk to about 10,000 workers
Thanh Hoa - To support workers to cool down in hot sunny days, the Venus Company Trade Union has purchased and distributed milk to about 10,000 workers.
On July 10, representatives of the Trade Union of Venus Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd., located in Hoat Giang commune, Thanh Hoa province, said that the unit had just organized milk distribution for about 10,000 workers and laborers working at the enterprise.
The activity is implemented to implement the direction of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation on strengthening coordination in caring for working conditions and applying measures to prevent and combat heat waves for union members and workers.
According to a representative of the Trade Union of Venus Vietnam Shoe Co., Ltd., hot weather has continuously occurred in the area, affecting the health and working conditions of workers.
To support workers to cool down and ensure health during work, the company's leadership and Trade Union have purchased milk and organized direct distribution at production workshops for workers to use.
This is a practical activity, showing the concern and companionship of the Trade Union organization and businesses for union members and workers in hot weather days. Thereby, contributing to protecting health, creating a comfortable working atmosphere, increasing cohesion and improving production efficiency at enterprises.
Previously, implementing the direction of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, many grassroots trade unions coordinated with businesses to implement heat protection measures such as spraying water to cool workshops, adding fans, providing lemonade, ice, milk and drinking water for workers.
