Closing ceremony of An Giang Samho Workers' Sports Festival

Recently, at An Giang Trade Union mini Football Park (Binh Hoa Industrial Park, Binh Hoa Commune, An Giang Province), the An Giang Samho Workers' Sports Festival with the theme "Welcome to the 14th National Congress of the Party" has officially closed.

According to Mr. To Minh Lam - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Committee (An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor), the sports festival has left many good impressions on union members and workers. The athletes competed with a spirit of solidarity, honesty, and nobility, giving the audience many attractive and dramatic matches.

This sports festival not only contributes to promoting the movement of physical exercise among workers but also creates a vibrant competitive atmosphere, encouraging workers to enthusiastically work and produce, contributing to the sustainable development of enterprises, especially achieving the achievement of welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The sports festival organized by the Trade Union of An Giang Samho Company Limited attracted 400 union members and employees to participate in 4 competitions such as: men's football, women's football, men's volleyball and women's volleyball.

At the end of the sports festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 14 prizes including: 4 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 4 prizes to individuals with outstanding achievements. In which, the first prize in women's volleyball went to the B Workshop; the first prize in women's football went to the E Workshop; the first prize in men's volleyball went to the C Workshop; the first prize in men's football went to the A Workshop team.

Mr. Vo Thanh Nha - Chairman of the Trade Union of An Giang Samho Company Limited - said: "The sports festival is a practical activity to care for the spiritual life, improve the health of employees, while creating a healthy playground, enhancing exchanges and solidarity between units in the company. The success of the sports festival is a motivation for the grassroots trade union to continue organizing more meaningful movement activities in the coming time".
