Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union improves the effectiveness of foreign affairs activities

Information from the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that in the period of 2023 - 2025, the foreign affairs work of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation was interrupted at times, especially the exchange of delegations with units in the post-COVID-19 pandemic period.

However, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has proactively and actively carried out many cooperation activities, exchanging with trade union organizations within the framework of solidarity and cooperation such as: Rengo Osaka (Japan), Shanghai Trade Union (China), Saint-Petersburg Trade Union Federation ( Russian Federation), Champasak Trade Union Federation (Laos) and maintained training support activities for Cambodian trade union officials.

At the same time, he received and worked with the President of the World Trade Union Federation, international delegations and international organizations under the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; participated in the program "Vietnamese families with Lao and Cambodian students".

Activities of welcoming international visitors and exchanging delegations are all carried out in accordance with regulations on foreign affairs. Through that, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has the opportunity to improve knowledge and foreign affairs skills for the staff, receive more information, and at the same time introduce and promote the image of Ho Chi Minh City and the city's trade union activities to international friends.

Through the Party's oriented people's foreign affairs activities, the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union has built a friendly relationship, receiving good affection and respect from trade union organizations and international friends.
