Nearly 200 athletes attended the sports festival organized by the Union
The Trade Union of the Petroleum Construction Maintenance and Repair Corporation (PVMR) organized the 6th Traditional Sports Festival.
This year's sports festival has nearly 200 athletes from 5 member units of PVMR, competing in 10 sports. They are: Football, volleyball, tug of war, sack jumping, badminton, tennis, athletics, swimming, chess, pickleball. The sport of pickleball was included in the competition program for the first time, contributing to creating a highlight for this sports festival.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hien - Deputy General Director, Chairman of PVMR Trade Union, the Sports Festival is not only an opportunity to practice physical exercise and improve the spiritual life of workers, but also an opportunity to strengthen the cohesion between units, contributing to fostering the corporate cultural identity of PVMR: Dynamic, creative, persistent and united.
This is a meaningful sporting event, part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group.
This is also an activity to celebrate the success of the 4th PVMR Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Energy Assessment Joint Stock Company.
