Vinh Long awards 6 Union Shelters to union members in difficult circumstances
Vinh Long - Since the beginning of 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor has handed over 50 Trade Union Shelters, helping union members and workers in difficult circumstances to settle down.
On September 24, the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF) held a handover ceremony of 6 Trade Union Shelters to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
This is the number of houses in 50 that have been completed out of a total of 59 that have been disbursed since the beginning of 2025.
Each house is worth from 70 - 250 million VND. Of which, the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 50 million VND, the rest was contributed by family and relatives to complete.
The new spacious houses have helped many union members and workers stabilize their housing, work with peace of mind and take care of their families.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Oanh - Vice President of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor - sent congratulations to the families who received the new houses.
She acknowledged the efforts of union members introduced by the grassroots union to support the Provincial Federation of Labor in building houses, and encouraged households to continue to strive to improve their lives and stick with businesses.
Ms. Oanh also expressed her hope that the union members' families, after receiving support, will always cherish, maintain and repair the house as a valuable asset.
"This will be a motivation for union members and workers to work with peace of mind, raise their children, and contribute to building an increasingly stable and sustainable life for workers and laborers," Ms. Oanh added.
