Vinh Long focuses on completing the work of the Trade Union Congress

According to the report from the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation from December 1 to 5, the Vinh Long Labor Union has carried out many important tasks.

The Chairman attended important conferences, including the approval of the dossier of the Provincial Trade Union Congress in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress of the province and a meeting of the Provincial People's Council Party Executive Committee.

The Vice Chairmen attended conferences to implement the Resolutions of the Provincial Party Congresses and Party Congresses of Party agencies, contributing to orienting trade union activities and improving the effectiveness of management and direction in the whole province.

In the organization of the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, the Provincial Labor Federation submitted to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for approval, organized a conference to discuss personnel, contribute to the Congress Documents and draft amendments to the Trade Union Charter.

At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor worked with Mekong International event Organizing - Tourism Company Limited, held a meeting of the Propaganda Subcommittee and assigned tasks to the Subcommittees to serve the Congress, ensuring that the preparation steps were implemented on schedule, scientifically and effectively.

The Provincial Federation of Labor also worked with the Social Policy Bank on recovering loans to support job creation, guiding grassroots unions to complete the dossier to recognize election results. During the week, 145 grassroots trade unions were recognized as Executive Committees and Inspection Committees; 1 newly established grassroots trade union, 239 union members were admitted.

In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor participated in giving comments on the draft list of job positions and proposed staffing for the 2026-2031 period, contributing to orienting personnel and organization work in the coming time.

At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor issued many important documents related to contributing Congress documents, settling grassroots financial settlements, implementing online drug prevention and control competitions and propaganda on crime prevention and control.
