Vinh Long guides grassroots levels on procedures for proposing the "For the Cause of Trade Unions" Medal

According to the operating plan of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation in the second quarter of 2026, trade union levels in the province are implementing guidance for grassroots trade unions to carry out procedures to request the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to award the "For the Cause of Building Trade Union Organizations" medal to trade union officials and people with great contributions.

This is an activity to recognize and honor trade union officials and individuals who have made many contributions in the process of building and developing the Vietnam Trade Union organization. The consideration and awarding is carried out in accordance with the process and standards prescribed by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, ensuring publicity and transparency.

At the same time, Trade Union levels also continue to promote propaganda, develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions; strengthen inspection and supervision of compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and trade union financial management.

Many activities to care for the lives of union members and workers have also been implemented such as organizing emulation movements, activities on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1st and Vietnamese Family Day June 28th; improving the effectiveness of communication on digital platforms.

The synchronous implementation of tasks in the second quarter is expected to contribute to improving the quality of Trade Union activities, better caring for the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers in the province.
