Propaganda and mobilization to organize Trade Union Meals in Vung Tau Ward
HCMC - Vung Tau Ward Trade Union has guided grassroots trade unions in the area on the implementation and organization of Trade Union Meals for union members and workers.
On July 22, the Vung Tau Ward Trade Union (HCMC) said that it had implemented guidelines and mobilized grassroots trade unions of units and enterprises to implement the Trade Union Meal program for union members and workers.
This is one of the activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2.
Currently, Vung Tau Ward Trade Union consists of 120 grassroots trade unions (CDCS) with about 7,121 union members. The unit has instructed the grassroots trade unions to organize a concentrated Union Meal during the week on July 28 and last until September 2.
In which, the value of the meal is calculated by the value of the daily meal plus the added value from the trade union financial source (maximum 50,000 VND/meal) and other socialized sources if any.
At the same time, they hung slogans, billboards, and posters to promote the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and National Day, inviting Party committees, professional leaders, and employers to attend.
In addition, organize other combined activities such as: admitting new union members; giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances; giving birthday gifts to union members in the month... and other activities.
