Implementing activities to 400 grassroots trade unions in the North of Ho Chi Minh City

On September 30, Area Management Working Group No. 9 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation held a conference to deploy important activities in the coming time to the trade unions of communes, wards and grassroots trade unions in the North of Ho Chi Minh City.

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; Mr. Pham Van Hien - Deputy Director of the City Labor Federation's Legal Consulting Center, a reporter of the conference; also attended by leaders of commune and ward trade unions and more than 400 grassroots trade union officials.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoai An - Member of the Inspection Committee of the City Labor Federation - thoroughly grasped and implemented the plan of the City Labor Federation on organizing congresses at all levels. At the same time, provide guidance on work related to the congress.

On the same day, Working Group No. 9 held a conference to deploy the Trade Union Law (amended) and the Social Insurance Law (amended) 2024. These are two laws that play a particularly important role, being a foundation directly linked to the rights, obligations and lives of workers.

The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 9 said that the training session focused on the core contents of the Trade Union Law (amended) and the Social Insurance Law (amended), especially the new points, common problems in practice.

This is an activity of special significance to equip the team of union officials with solid knowledge, improve their operational capacity, thereby better meeting the requirements of innovation and development in the current period. At the conference, grassroots union officials discussed, exchanged experiences and learned how to effectively apply legal regulations to practice.
