Area management working group No. 8 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation works in a ward with 7 industrial parks
HCMC - Area management working group No. 8 of the HCMC Labor Federation had a working session with the Binh Duong Ward Labor Union.
On July 15, Area Management Working Group No. 8 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, led by Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, had a working session in Binh Duong ward.The content focuses on issues of organizing trade union activities after the merger.
The Binh Duong Ward Trade Union has been in operation since the beginning of July 2025, and has so far completed personnel work and assigned full-time tasks.The ward trade union proactively develops operating regulations, working programs for the last 6 months of the year and prepares to organize activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025).
Regarding facilities, the Ward Union was arranged 4 offices at the old headquarters of Phu Tan Ward; received equipment to serve working requirements.
The members of the Ward Union expressed their readiness to take on the task, determined to actively contribute to the overall success of the locality.

At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation acknowledged the initial efforts of the Ward Labor Union. At the same time, it is recommended that the unit continue to promote the spirit of proactiveness and responsibility; closely coordinate with local socio-political organizations. The working group agreed to assign tasks to the ward Trade Union according to their capacity, progress and actual requirements.
The ward has 7 industrial parks
Binh Duong ward was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Hoa Phu, Phu My, Phu Tan wards of Thu Dau Mot city and Phu Chanh ward of Tan Uyen city of the old Binh Duong province.
Binh Duong ward has a natural area of 58.157 km2, population of 107,576 people.
Notably, this is a ward with industrial - urban - service development, with a large concentration of workers. After the arrangement, there are 7 industrial parks in the ward including: Dai Dang, Kim Huy, Song Than 3, VSIP II, Dong An 2, Phu Tan and Mapletree Vietnam High-Tech Park. In addition, there is also a Phu Chanh industrial cluster in the ward.
