Railway attendant returns more than 25 million passengers left on the train
The SP7 group returned more than 25 million VND to the passenger who left it behind on the Hanoi - Lao Cai train.
According to the representative of Vietnam Railway Corporation, on October 20, 2025, at Lao Cai Station, Group SP7 (Yen Bai Railway Station) handed over the passenger assets left on the train to the relevant unit to return to the owner.
SP7 train departs from Hanoi station on the evening of October 19, arriving at Lao Cai station on the morning of October 20, 2025. After dropping off passengers, the carriage attendant at number 2 Nguyen Son Tho discovered a handbag left behind while cleaning. Mr. Tho immediately reported the incident to Ship Leader Vu Anh Dung.
Inside the bag was cash and many important personal documents, with a total value of about 25.6 million VND. The entire assets have been fully handed over by the SP7 Ship Team to the representative of Lao Cai Railway Transport Station to return to passengers according to regulations.
The railway staff returning property to passengers forgets is a meaningful act, demonstrating a sense of responsibility, honesty and dedication to service.
