Emulation of good workers, the lives of VRG workers have improved significantly

The report at the conference showed that in the period of 2020 - 2025, all areas of VRG's operations have typical factors, creating new momentum and new strength for a period of strong development.

The movements "Skilled learning, good worker competition" and "Emulation of good labor and production" are always typical emulation movements, conducted regularly and continuously. Through the movements, every year more than 90% of workers have good and skilled skills.

In 5 years (2020 - 2025), the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union has maintained and organized the "Union Shelter" housing program well, built and repaired 445 "Union Shelter" houses with more than 21.5 billion VND, helping hundreds of families of disadvantaged workers have spacious accommodation.

The reward work has been carried out urgently, promptly, fairly, and democratically in accordance with regulations, so it has promoted its effectiveness, encouraged employees of the entire group to strive to compete, determined to strive to exceed the set production and business plan, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country. The entire group has more than 17,800 individuals and 6,600 groups being honored and rewarded, hundreds of initiatives have been applied in practice, saving tens of billions of VND for businesses.

Mr. Le Thanh Hung - General Director of VRG - said that although the period of 2020 - 2025 has many difficulties and challenges, however, under the close leadership of the Party Committee, the consensus and efforts of all employees, the total revenue of the group reached more than 141,000 billion VND, pre-tax profit was 27,541 billion VND, and the State budget was paid 24,371 billion VND.

The work of caring for workers and social security is given special attention. The Trade Union, and other socio-political organizations of the group have clearly promoted their role as companions, creating a progressive and humane working environment.

Speaking at the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan praised the achievements that VRG's employees have achieved and suggested that the Vietnam Rubber Trade Union continue to encourage and motivate union members and employees to participate in emulation movements to complete VRG's production and business tasks, making achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the National Patriotic Emulation Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.

The Vietnam Rubber Trade Union has a plan and program to foster qualifications and skills for union members and workers to meet the new situation, and achieve double-digit economic growth according to the State's policy. Proactively grasp the situation of employment, the lives of employees and businesses, participate with Party committees and authorities to pay attention to removing difficulties for businesses and workers through specific and practical actions suitable for localities and units. At the same time, organize activities to care for the lives of employees, promote the effectiveness of trade union social funds to help employees reduce difficulties in life. Coordinate with authorities at all levels to participate in supervising the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations, organizing democratic dialogues, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
