The dream of teaching on the podium of teacher Pham Huu Hao (born in 1997) has been nurtured since he was studying at a high school in Tuong Linh commune (Thanh Hoa). He passed the entrance exam to the Literature Pedagogy major at Hong Duc University in 2023, then was assigned to teach at the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education (VCC) in Vinh Loc commune (Thanh Hoa).
Mr. Hao said that at that time, to better understand students, he learned through parents and local teachers, thereby grasping the circumstances, educational strengths, strengths... of each student in the class. "In the early days of being assigned here, I did not have a full image of the students at the Center. After directly teaching, spending time listening and talking with them, I felt I needed to try harder to understand their psychology, accompany and help them change step by step, said Mr. Hao.
For a young teacher like Mr. Pham Huu Hao, teaching is not only a job but also a journey to adulthood with students. In addition to imparting knowledge, he also encourages students to be more confident, dare to stand in front of crowds, dare to speak and dare to change themselves. The more I stick with students, the more I love the job because I have contributed a small part to their journey to adulthood and change, said Mr. Hao.
With youth and enthusiasm, Mr. Hao always tries to study, explore, and improve his expertise in teaching so that students can absorb lessons most effectively. Thanks to that, each Literature lesson of Mr. Hao is always vibrant and attractive: I instruct students to create videos to learn about literature themselves, students will do their own projects in class. Instead of being the lecturer, I create the initiative to learn the lesson so that students can understand and remember it more carefully.
Without starting the lesson in a familiar way, Mr. Pham Huu Hao will arouse the emotions and images of students with a painting, a short video and especially using Plickers application software (scan the answer code).
This method includes the use of encrypted answer cards, computers and smartphones to create questions, collect and quickly analyze feedback from students, helping to create effective interaction and assessment. Mr. Hao said that he started using the software when he returned to the Teaching Center, and at the same time, to meet the general education program in 2018, teachers need to apply more information technology.
In addition to teaching in class, Mr. Pham Huu Hao is always active in the Youth Union movements. As Secretary of the Youth Union of the Vinh Loc Education and Training Center, he regularly organizes activities such as forums to build beautiful friendships and say no to violence, cultural and sports activities, etc. In addition, he coordinates with relevant agencies and organizations to implement a number of propaganda activities on drug prevention and control, traffic safety, and career guidance programs for union members and young people.
On the journey of "pure knowledge, reap faith", Mr. Pham Huu Hao sets the goal of always improving himself and his professional expertise, applying information technology, innovating teaching methods to be both a teacher and a companion with students.
In addition to teaching in class, Mr. Pham Huu Hao also left his mark with outstanding achievements in his career. In the 2025-2026 school year, excellent teachers won the first prize in the Provincial Excellent Teachers' Competition in the high school education program.
In 2025, he was honored to receive the "8th National Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's words" Badge from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. He was also awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Youth Union for his outstanding achievements in the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement of schools in the 2024-2025 school year.
