Bao Loc City approves the Project to reorganize grassroots trade unions

On the afternoon of May 30, the Bao Loc City Labor Federation (LDLD) held the 6th Executive Committee Conference (EC) of the 7th tenure (term 2023 - 2028).

The conference was held to approve the Project on arranging the organization of the Trade Union under the City Labor Federation and evaluate Trade Union activities in the first 6 months of 2025.

Currently, Bao Loc City Labor Federation is managing 183 grassroots unions with 10,593 union members.

According to this Project, there are 85 grassroots trade unions of administrative agencies and public service units under the Bao Loc City Labor Federation that will end their operations from June 15, 2025.

Meanwhile, 98 grassroots trade unions under the Bao Loc City Labor Federation are not subject to the end of operations and are subject to the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation's management and direction before June 30, 2025.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Bao Loc City Labor Federation has represented and protected the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.

Specifically, the City Labor Federation intervened to have the employer, Friendly Green Environment Joint Stock Company, pay salaries to 35 employees with an amount of more than 500 million VND.

The Bao Loc City Labor Federation has presented more than 500 Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly 250 million VND and distributed 2,000 discount coupons at Co.op Mart Supermarket.

During Workers' Month and Labor Safety Action Month 2025, the Labor Federation presented 80 gifts worth 40 million VND and organized many activities such as free medical examinations for workers.

On this occasion, 3 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and many collectives and individuals were awarded for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement.
