Training to improve professional skills for grassroots union executive committees

The conference was attended by Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor; attended and directly conveyed the contents of the conference with Mr. Nguyen Khac Dieu - Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Thach Van Chung emphasized the importance of improving the quality of grassroots trade union activities.

Mr. Thach Van Chung highly appreciated the initiative of the New wing Company Limited Trade Union in organizing this meaningful program, and at the same time requested that after being trained, trade union officials should flexibly apply the knowledge they have learned to practical work, actively advise the Board of Directors and closely coordinate with employers to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Khac Dieu directly conveyed in-depth contents on the Labor Law, focusing on basic and urgent issues for grassroots trade union activities: Labor contracts and collective labor agreements; wages, bonuses and overtime regimes, clarifying regulations on determining regional minimum wages, how to calculate overtime wages, working at night, and allowances and subsidies.

Delegates were also given skills in resolving labor disputes; social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance...

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the conference, Ms. Tran Thi Chi - Member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of New wing Company Limited expressed her deep gratitude to the leaders of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor for their interest and attendance at the training conference.

At the same time, the union president also requested the union officials to participate seriously in absorbing the knowledge that has been imparted, flexibly applying it to practical operations at the grassroots level, thereby improving the quality of union activities, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises. This is a practical activity to equip necessary knowledge and skills, helping the team of union officials to effectively perform their role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.

The training program is also an opportunity for union officials of New wing Company Limited to exchange and learn experiences, thereby improving operational efficiency, contributing to building an increasingly strong union organization.
