After 8 years of inauguration, the Gac Ma Memorial Site welcomes more than half a million visitors

On July 22, the leader of the Management Board of the Gec Ma Soldiers Memorial Area - said that since its establishment, the unit has welcomed more than 3,126 groups of visitors to visit, offer incense and offer flowers.

In recent times, the Management Board has organized many regular incense offering ceremonies, especially on important anniversaries of the country.

Notably, on March 14 - the matter of the Sea of Ma, in memory of the merits of 64 officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Navy who heroically sacrificed to protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands.

In the near future, the Management Board will organize an incense offering ceremony to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1945 - July 27, 2025).

In addition, the memorial area is also a chosen location to organize many meaningful activities such as: Party admission ceremony, union member admission ceremony, commemorative incense offering ceremony, commendation and reward programs...

These activities contribute to fostering love for the homeland, strengthening traditional education, fostering revolutionary ideals and a spirit of striving for the younger generation.

Up to now, more than 100 new party members and union members have been admitted here. Nearly 160 students and 150 cadres and union members were honored and rewarded at the memorial site.

In the first 6 months of 2025, the Management Board welcomed 416 groups with more than 24,881 visitors. Among them, there are many groups from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nghe An and the Southern provinces.

Visitors include: Veterans, civil servants, students, youth union members, domestic and foreign tourists

The items in the memorial area are regularly maintained and inspected, ensuring aesthetics, hygiene and solemn space.

The trees are regularly cared for, contributing to creating a green - clean - beautiful, solemn landscape, ensuring security and order, serving the sightseeing and memorial needs of people and tourists.
