Regulations on members of the Civil Servants' Recruitment Council from 1.7.2025

Decree No. 170/2025/ND-CP regulating the recruitment, use and management of civil servants, effective from July 1, 2025.

Article 8 of the Decree stipulates the Civil Servant Recruitment Council as follows:

1. The head of the competent recruitment agency decides to establish a Recruitment Council in case of examination or admission. The recruitment council has 05 or 07 members including:

a) The Chairman of the Council is the head or deputy head of the competent recruitment agency;

b) The Vice Chairman of the Council is the representative of the leadership of the advisory department on personnel organization of the competent recruitment agency;

c) Members and Secretaries of the Council are civil servants under the advisory department on personnel organization of the competent recruitment agency;

d) Other members who are leaders of a number of professional departments or occupations related to the organization of recruitment are decided by the head of the competent recruitment agency.

The Decree also stipulates: No arrangement for people who have relationships with wives, husbands, biological father, biological mother; father, mother (wife or husband), adoptive father, adoptive mother; biological children, adopted children; siblings, uncles, uncles, uncles, uncles; brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters of the husband or husband; husband or wife or husband, sister, or biological mother of the recruiter; those who are undergoing disciplinary action or are serving disciplinary decisions; those who have been disciplined for corruption and negativity; people who have been disciplined for violations in the work of organizing cadres to be members of the Recruitment Council, members of the staff of the Recruitment Council.
