Mr. Tran Vu Ha becomes Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor

Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor chaired the conference. Also attending the conference were Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan; representatives of leaders of departments and units under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; representatives of the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union.

At the conference, Ms. Phi Thu Huong - Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on the transfer and appointment of Deputy Head of the Labor Union Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

The decision was signed by Central Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang.

According to the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front: Transfer and appoint Mr. Tran Vu Ha, Vice President of the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Committee, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the appointment term is 5 years from January 1, 2026.

Presenting the Decision, presenting flowers, giving a speech assigning tasks to Mr. Tran Vu Ha, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized that, implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, creativity and national digital transformation, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has identified digital transformation in trade union activities as one of the important breakthroughs - thereby creating a strong and comprehensive transformation in all areas of the organization's activities; based on the digital technology platform associated with administrative reform;

Improve the capacity to exploit and apply information technology to serve the practical and effective operation of trade unions at all levels; overcome limitations and shortcomings, contribute to improving the quality of activities, accompany workers and enterprises...

Therefore, when receiving the task of Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Tran Vu Ha needs to promote his experiences and knowledge to work with the Trade Union Work Committee to effectively carry out the tasks assigned by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, including the work of developing science and technology and digital transformation...

The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor suggested that cadres and civil servants of the professional departments of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, especially the collective of the Trade Union Working Committee, need to unite, coordinate, and help Mr. Tran Vu Ha promote his capacity and successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Presidium in the coming time.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Vu Ha respectfully thanked the Standing Committee of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for their guidance, support and trust. Mr. Tran Vu Ha promised to try his best, be dedicated, responsible, receptive, and creative to quickly approach the new task, in order to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
