Mr. Phan Thanh Liem was appointed as Chairman of Khanh Hoa Labor Federation for the 2025-2030 term

At the Congress, the Presidium presented a draft report summarizing the activities of the Trade Union and the workers' movement in Khanh Hoa province for the period 2023 - 2025, and at the same time proposed directions and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term.

The report emphasizes outstanding results in representing and caring for union members' lives; developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; organizing patriotic emulation movements associated with local political tasks.

After 3 years of implementing activities in the context of many fluctuations, Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union has recorded many outstanding results in caring for, representing and protecting the rights of workers.

Trade union activities and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers (CNVCLD) in the whole province have gradually improved, adapting to the requirements of organizational innovation, streamlining the apparatus and digital transformation.

The Congress also listened to a report summarizing opinions and comments on the documents of the 1st Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress and the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The opinions focus on innovating the content and methods of Trade Union activities, improving the quality of negotiation and dialogue at the workplace and practically caring for workers.

The Congress also recorded many presentations and reports vividly reflecting the role of grassroots trade unions in natural disasters, in mobilizing union members to participate in the emulation movement "Good workers, Creative workers"...

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, deeply shared the difficulties and losses of people and workers in Khanh Hoa in the recent historic flood.

He assessed that the Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term took place in a special context, and at the same time suggested 5 key groups of tasks.

In particular, emphasizing the strong orientation of activities towards the grassroots, closely following the grassroots, strengthening propaganda, mobilization, and attracting workers to join the Trade Union.

Focus on practical and effective care activities so that the Trade Union is truly a solid support for union members and workers.

Strengthen propaganda, dissemination, political and ideological education, building a team of workers in the province to be a pioneer in building and developing Khanh Hoa in the new era.

Proactively participate, negotiate, sign and supervise the implementation of collective labor agreements, focusing on wages, bonuses, working hours, rest, working conditions, environment, and occupational safety and hygiene.

Emphasizing the role of "changing the state" of the trade union organization in the new period, Mr. Nguyen Khac Ha - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province suggested that the Provincial Trade Union continue to innovate propaganda work.

At the same time, improve the quality of emulation movements, care for workers' lives, contribute to the implementation of double-digit economic growth goals and build Khanh Hoa into a centrally-governed city by 2027.

At the Congress, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor announced the decision to appoint the Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 25 members (nameless 2 members); the Standing Committee consists of 9 members; members of the Inspection Committee of 7 members (nameless 2 members).

At the same time, the position of Chairman of Khanh Hoa Labor Federation was appointed to Mr. Phan Thanh Liem; 3 Vice Chairmen including: Mr. Bui Dang Thanh, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa, Ms. Tran Thi Huong.

The Congress also appointed a delegation to attend the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, including 10 official delegates and 2 absent delegates.
