In the new term, Dien Sanh Commune Trade Union puts the rights of union members at the center

On October 28, the 1st Dien Sanh Commune Trade Union Congress took place.

Currently, Dien Sanh Commune Trade Union directly manages 14 grassroots trade unions with more than 2,500 union members, of which female workers account for 72%.

In recent years, grassroots trade unions have proactively coordinated with employers to implement democratic regulations at the workplace, build salary scales, and organize periodic health check-ups.

Every year, 100% of public service units organize conferences for civil servants, 85% of enterprises with 10 or more employees organize conferences for workers. Over 80% of eligible enterprises have negotiated and signed collective labor agreements. The care for union members' welfare is being implemented synchronously. The Tet Sum vay, Workers' Month, Union Meal, and Union Shelter programs are maintained regularly.

At the congress, two breakthroughs of the new term were identified: improving the quality of negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements, deepening provisions on salary, bonus, shift meals, working conditions, working hours, rest hours and closely monitoring implementation.

Second is to promote digital transformation in union member management and operation. Dien Sanh Commune Trade Union sets a target for this term to develop 500 union members and establish 5 new grassroots unions.

The Congress also frankly acknowledged the difficulties, when most of the enterprises in the area are small and very small, with large labor fluctuations. Some businesses have not fully implemented policies on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, wages and bonuses. For the 2025-2030 term, the Commune Trade Union will strengthen inspection and supervision of compliance with labor laws, proactively synthesize recommendations from workers to propose competent authorities to promptly resolve them.

At the Dien Sanh Commune Trade Union Congress, the decision to appoint members to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and hold the position of Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of the Dien Sanh Commune Trade Union Inspection Committee for the 2025-2030 term was announced. In which, Mr. Ho Tuan Binh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, Chairman of the Commune Trade Union holds the position of Chairman of the Dien Sanh Commune Trade Union.
