High-quality human resources are a key factor determining national competitiveness
On the morning of October 8, a workshop on "S strategic breakthrough in human resources, especially high-quality human resources in the new context" took place in Hanoi.
The national scientific conference with the theme "S strategic breakthrough in human resources, especially high-quality human resources in the new context" was organized by the Truth National Political Publishing House in coordination with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Ministry of Health, and Hanoi Medical University on the morning of October 8. This is a scientific conference of important theoretical and practical significance, contributing to clarifying core issues in human resource development to serve the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new period, making a practical contribution to the preparation process of the 14th National Party Congress Documents.
The workshop was attended by leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, research institutes, training institutions, business leaders, experts and scientists.
Speaking at the workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Phan Thi Thu Huong, Chairwoman of the Council of Hanoi Medical University, emphasized that developing human resources, especially high-quality human resources, is one of the three strategic breakthroughs identified in many recent National Congresses of the Party and is an urgent issue in the new era of national development.
With more than 60 presentations, the Workshop brought multi-dimensional, scientific perspectives, connecting theory and practice, from policy making to implementation, contributing to the completion of the country's high-quality human resource development strategy.
Speaking on the topic of Building a team of advisory staff at Central Party agencies to meet the requirements of digital transformation, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the Truth National Political Publishing House, focused on analyzing the requirements for the team of advisory staff in the context of digital transformation being promoted by the Party and the State.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, staff at Central Party agencies, in addition to their professional capacity and solid political qualities, need to have a strategic mindset, the ability to adapt quickly to changes in the digital technology environment and working skills in the digital data - connection environment.
In his speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam proposed 7 solutions to build a team of advisory staff to meet the requirements of digital transformation, emphasizing the construction of a digital working environment in Party agencies, taking digital transformation as a tool to improve operational efficiency, improve coordination processes, information processing and policy recommendations.
In addition to the speech of Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, at the Workshop, delegates shared many rich practical experiences, emphasizing the role of human resource development strategies associated with labor market demand. The presentations are all of theoretical and practical value, and all agreed to note: high-quality human resources are the key factor determining national competitiveness.
Speaking at the conclusion of the Workshop, Prof. Dr. Phung Huu Phu, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, emphasized that developing high-quality human resources is not only an urgent requirement but also a long-term, continuous task, requiring the synchronous participation of the entire political system, all levels, sectors, agencies and units.
