Male student in Da Nang returns nearly half a billion VND to the person who transferred it by mistake
Da Nang - Discovering nearly 500 million VND mistakenly transferred to his account, the 18-year-old young man immediately reported to the police to return it to the owner.
Hoa Xuan Ward Police (Da Nang City) has just received and completed the procedures to return 499,999,999 VND to the owner of the mistakenly transferred account.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Minh Thanh (18 years old, residing on Co Man Cuc 3 Street, Hoa Xuan Ward) came to report that he had unexpectedly received nearly 500 million VND from an account named Ngu Hoang Quoc Dat.
Immediately after receiving the money, Hoa Xuan Ward Police coordinated with MB Bank - Hoa Tho branch (142 Ong Ich Duong) to verify and support the return of the entire amount to the account owner, Mr. Ngu Hoang Quoc Dat (50 years old, residing in Lam Dong province).
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Minh Thanh shared: "When I saw such a large amount of money transferred into my account, I was very surprised. I knew for sure that someone was making a mistake, so I immediately went to the police to report. That is someone else's property, if I keep it, it is not the right thing to do".
Mr. Thanh's honest and self-conscious actions and the quick support of the police and banking forces have contributed to spreading a beautiful image of the honesty and responsible spirit of life of the people of Da Nang.
