Lam Dong Labor Federation receives more than 1,000 grassroots unions and 94,533 union members

On July 22, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had signed a decision to receive grassroots trade unions and union members after merging the two former provinces of Binh Thuan and Dak Nong into Lam Dong province.

According to the decision, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor received 1,066 grassroots unions, grassroots unions and 94,533 union members.

This is the number of grassroots trade unions and union members transferred from the Labor Federations of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Dak Nong provinces before the merger to the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation from July 1, 2025.

Of which, the grassroots union of Right Rich International Company Limited has the largest union membership in the province, 3,361 union members.

This is a production enterprise in Ham Kiem II Industrial Park. Next is the grassroots union of Dalat Hasfarm Company Limited with 3,152 union members.

The grassroots trade union of Phan Thiet Garment Export Joint Stock Company ranked 3rd in terms of the number of union members with 2,868 people....

Grassroots trade unions organize activities and carry out tasks according to the provisions of law and the charter of the Vietnam Trade Union. Currently, the trade unions of communes and wards are closely following the grassroots, guiding affiliated trade unions to carry out professional activities.

For example, in Ham Kiem commune, the Chairman of the Commune Trade Union coordinated with the grassroots trade union to organize a union meal at Right Rich International Company Limited - the enterprise with the largest number of workers in the province.
