Hue City Labor Federation honors 52 exemplary union member families

On June 25, the Hue City Labor Federation (Hue City Labor Federation) held a conference to summarize the campaign "Building a family of union members and workers in Hue City to be warm, progressive, happy, and civilized" for the period 2021 - 2025, and at the same time commended 52 typical families in this movement.

widely deployed in the Hue City trade union system over the past 5 years, the campaign has contributed to raising awareness among union members and workers about the role of the family in modern life and the sustainable development of society.

The propaganda content focuses on building a healthy family life, gender equality, child-rearing skills, preventing domestic violence and preserving the beauty of Hue culture in the family during the integration period.

Up to now, over 97% of union members and workers in Hue City have had access to educational content related to marriage, family, and gender equality; more than 90% actively participate in cultural and sports activities organized by the union.

Trade unions at all levels have also implemented many practical policies, notably the construction and repair of 158 "Union Shelters", nearly 3,000 people have been supported with loans to develop their family economy.

Many meaningful programs such as "Cong em den truong" and "Welfare for union members" have been maintained effectively, accompanying workers to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

In addition, key models such as the "Happy Family" Club, "Union Government House", " Milk Pumping - Storage room", childcare area at the agency... have been built in many units, contributing to creating a friendly and humane working environment, suitable for the needs of workers, especially female union members.

At the conference, 52 families of union members and outstanding workers were honored as shining examples in building a loving family, overcoming difficulties to rise up, raising children who are good at studying, actively participating in collective activities and movements at work and in the community.

The Hue City Labor Federation affirmed that it will continue to promote propaganda work, replicate effective models, and comprehensively care for union members, especially female workers, towards the goal of building a happy, progressive, and sustainable family of civil servants and employees, contributing to creating a foundation for the development of society.
