Can Tho City Labor Federation solicits opinions on draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress

On November 5, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF) held a conference to collect comments from cadres, union members, and workers (DV, NLD) on the draft document submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The conference was held to create conditions for the city's cadres, union members and employees to directly participate in discussions and contribute enthusiastic and responsible opinions to draft documents. These opinions will deeply reflect the actual situation of labor, production, and life at the grassroots level. Thereby, helping the documents to be completed in a practical and practical manner.

At the conference, nearly 80 delegates who are grassroots union officials, union members, and outstanding workers of Can Tho City expressed their agreement with the draft document. At the same time, delegates also contributed many opinions focusing on core issues such as solutions to build a modern and strong working class with digital skills; proposing mechanisms for the Trade Union to enhance its role in supervision and social criticism; solutions to enhance social security and welfare for members and employees, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and intelligence of the participating delegates. The comments not only closely follow the spirit of the draft documents, but also reflect the basic reality, contributing to making the documents submitted to the upcoming Party Congress more realistic and meeting higher requirements.

The Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation also requested the professional department to synthesize and filter the opinions from delegates; at the same time, classify and systematize the proposals according to each group of issues, ensuring scientificity, completeness and accuracy. After completing the synthesis work, the official document will be reported to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor according to the schedule and regulations.
