Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor celebrates the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union

In order to review the glorious historical tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union in 96 years of construction and development, affirming the role, position, functions, tasks and great contributions of the trade union organization in the cause of innovation, the Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor has organized a series of meaningful activities for the team of full-time trade union officials in the whole province.

The program also aims to strengthen confidence, arouse pride, promote the sense of responsibility of cadres, union members, and workers in building an increasingly strong trade union organization.

From July 1, 2025, implementing the policy of restructuring the apparatus, the Trade Unions of Yen Bai and Lao Cai provinces will officially merge into the Trade Unions of Lao Cai province. This is an important turning point, requiring solidarity, unity and consensus from the entire team of full-time union officials.

The series of activities was organized not only to celebrate the traditional anniversary, but also to contribute to creating an exciting and cohesive atmosphere, strengthening the spirit of solidarity, consensus and responsibility in the collective of union officials after the merger, working together to successfully carry out patriotic emulation movements, striving to complete and exceed the targets, plans and tasks set for 2025.

The activities took place enthusiastically and richly, including: Sports exchange, Traditional meet, Cultural exchange, attracting the enthusiastic and active participation of the full-time union officials of the two provinces. This is an opportunity for cadres to exchange, learn, share experiences in work, and at the same time build a united relationship, support each other in organizing and performing common tasks.

At the traditional meeting program, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the "For the cause of building the Trade Union organization" Medal in 2025 to 8 leaders and 70 provincial trade union officials.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized: "Today's activities not only review the glorious tradition and express gratitude for the great contributions of generations of union officials, but also give motivation to all union officials. From there, continue to strive, promote the role in caring for, representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers".

The series of activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union in Lao Cai province has left many good impressions, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among the team of full-time trade union officials, contributing to the successful implementation of trade union goals and tasks in 2025 and the following years.
