The Nam Sach District Labor Federation (Hai Duong Province) has just announced the decision to end the activities of grassroots trade unions (CDCS) under the administrative and career sector in accordance with the roadmap for reorganizing and streamlining the organizational apparatus according to the direction of the Central Government.

Implementing Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW of the Politburo and the instructions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the arrangement of the district-level Trade Union apparatus after merging district-level administrative units, the Nam Sach District Labor Federation has announced the decision to terminate activities for 70 grassroots trade unions in the administrative sector, public service, communes and towns.

At the same time, the remaining 37 grassroots unions in the area were transferred to the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor for direct management.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Lan - Chairwoman of Nam Sach District Labor Federation, streamlining the organization this time is not only an inevitable requirement stemming from the practice of restructuring the apparatus, but also an opportunity to look back, evaluate and express gratitude for the silent and persistent contributions of grassroots trade union organizations.

Especially the team of Trade Union cadres - those who have worked tirelessly to preserve and spread the role and voice of the Trade Union organization in the lives of workers, civil servants and laborers in the area throughout the past time.

The announcement of the decision to terminate the activities of grassroots trade unions is part of the implementation of the Project to reorganize administrative units, while contributing to preparing conditions for the trade union apparatus to operate in accordance with the new organizational model after the merger.
