Leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor attend the Women Workers' Day in Da Nang
Da Nang - Leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour attend and congratulate the Women Workers' Day, spreading good deeds from the Trade Union movement.
On the morning of March 8, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized a program to launch a writing contest about models, examples of good people and good deeds in the workers' movement; mobilizing union members to join hands to build Great Solidarity Houses and the 2026 Women's Workers' Day.
This is a meaningful activity to achieve emulation achievements to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, celebrate the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day March 8 and the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Agencies, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), President of VGCL; Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - along with city leaders, trade union levels and a large number of union members and workers.
At the program, the Da Nang Trade Union spread good models and typical examples in the workers' labor movement; and at the same time launched union members to join hands in building 10 Great Solidarity houses for poor households in Phuoc Tra commune and organized many activities to care for and honor female workers on the occasion of International Women's Day 8. 3.
