Opening of the first Pickleball Tournament for workers, civil servants, and laborers in Quang Ninh

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee; along with leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Party building committee, departments, branches, sectors, unions and representatives of units and localities in the province.

In his opening speech, Mr. To Xuan Thao - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized: The 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress (term 20252030) has just been successfully held, identifying the direction, goals and strategic solutions for the development of Quang Ninh province to become a model locality for innovation, comprehensiveness, sustainability, wealth, civilization and happiness.

The Congress also affirmed the important role of the working class and trade unions in implementing development goals, considering employees as the core force contributing to the construction and protection of the homeland of Quang Ninh.

This pickleball is not only an opportunity to spread the spirit of the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress (term 2025-2030), turning the resolution and policy into a specific action in the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", but also contributes to health training, improving physical fitness, strengthening solidarity and exchange among the staff and workers in the whole province.

The tournament brings together 23 delegations, with 216 athletes who are union members and workers from grassroots unions across the province.

Athletes compete in 6 events: men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles; divided into 2 age groups: 45 years old and under and 46 years old and above.
